bellevue atelier “grauzone”
Tank barriers were built for protection and defense. They have lost this function, but they are still there. As a monument of a Switzerland that defends itself? I show tank barriers as a symbol for borders. A stranger observes our Swiss idyll, economy, agriculture, our wealth, consume. The border appears to be penetrable, but behind it there are further borders. Are borders ethically acceptable? Or are they gray zones?
