Hi there, I am Peter

Photography has been a hobby of mine since I was a teenager taking my first pictures with a Kodak Instamatic camera. What really fascinates me is the combination of technology and creativity with exploring nature and cities.
I shoot digital and analogue with a variety of old and new cameras, in both black and white and colour.

I am also a big fan of Douglas Adams, the author of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Last Chance to See and other great books.

I live in Aarau, Switzerland.
I am an active member in the Fotowerk Basel and in BelleVue - Ort für Fotografie.

I earned my living as a biochemist in technology transfer at Empa (Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology) ; now I am enjoying my retirement.
