On a road trip between San Francisco and Chicago, I kept noticing casinos in the countryside and in small towns. They form a charming contrast to the glamorous casinos of Las Vegas or Atlantic City. They are more for everyday use and no tourist attractions. During the trip, a small typology of casinos was thus created.
